At Spring Creek Kennels (SCK), we are dedicated to raising versatile hunting companions who can excel both in the field and at the trial, as well as be a valuable member of the family. We are centrally located in the Midwest, in the middle of some of the country's best upland hunting. Our dogs are trained over both wild game and birds that we raise ourselves. Our farm has an ideal environment for dog training, and persons interested in purchasing a pup from us are always welcome to visit!
In addition, we are members of the North America Versatile Hunting Dog Association and the American Pointing Labrador Association. Concentrating mostly on the German Shorthair, we are also involved with hunting and training pointing Labrador Retrievers and offer for stud services on a dog with some of the finest pointing lab bloodlines available. All of our dogs are going through hunt tests to prove themselves in the field to back up their outstanding bloodlines. Because of our commitment to achieving the highest level of training possible with our clients’ dogs, sometimes we are not able to get our own dogs tested as quickly as we might desire. As in previous years, we have been able in the past year to achieve a number of beginning titles on our dogs. However, we are continually working with the SCK dogs and hope to gradually show their progress with advanced titles in the future.
We also provide a customized training program tailored to the needs of our clients. Training services range from basic obedience on up to finished hunting dog or finished field trial dog. Please see our training page for more information regarding training and boarding.
Please contact us about purchasing your next hunting and/or family companion or for information about having us assist you in training your dog. As in the past, anyone who purchases a pup from SCK is also welcome to come anytime with their pup to train with us.
