2011 Pointing Labrador Breedings
Puppies
We are pleased to announce the following breedings that we have planned for 2012 at SCK:
Bear x Lilah - Pups are $650, both yellow and black pups expected. This will be a repeat breeding from 2010 and 2011. Both litters have produced excellent pointing and retrieving pups who display the wonderful disposition of both parents. We have been fortunate enough to train a couple of the pups for clients, and at four months the pups were retrieving ducks in the water and pointing and retrieving birds in the field. This early ability is a true testimony to Bear and his outstanding bloodlines.
Bear x Raven - Pups are $950, all black litter expected. Raven’s bloodlines speak for themselves, including two APLA Hall of Fame sires GMPR Cajun of Black Forest MH and GMPR Sir Hershey of Surrey . Raven has a solid point with head high. She locks up hard on the birds and frequently makes three-legged points. She is also very family oriented and willing to please. She is a smaller female, but we hope to have medium to large sized pups with Bear.
Hoss x Caiya - Female pups $900, male pups $800, solid liver litter. This is a proven breeding from the last two years. To date, this has produced four puppies with NAVHDA prizes, three with prize I and one who received a prize III and plans to re-test this fall.
Diesel x Misty - Female pups $900, male pups $800, pups should be liver or white, patched and/or ticked, no solid colors. Misty’s bloodlines include VC Sundance Revelation MH and VC Jacob vd Westwind MH. Jacob was the NAVHDA hunt test sire of the year in 2002. In addition, Diesel is from a proven NAVHDA litter, with four littermates also receiving the NA Prize I.
Axel x Cheyenne - Female pups $900, male pups $800, pups should be liver patched and ticked. We are excited to be working with Fair Fields Gundogs and Axel for this breeding. Axel and Cheyenne are both high-class performers in the field , and Axel has achieved the highest distinction through both NAVHDA and AKC. Their bloodlines are impeccable, and this combination should produce high-level hunting dogs and companions. Click here for Axel’s pedigree.
All SCK pups come with a 30-month health guarantee. We request a deposit of $250 to hold your pup. Picks are given in the order that deposits are received. In addition, this year we are offering a training discount of $100 per month for up to three months for anyone who brings an SCK pup to us for training before the pup is six months old. We generally recommend puppy training begin at three to four months of age. As in the past, anyone who purchases a pup from SCK is also welcome to come anytime with their pup to train with us.
