Hoss x Caiya 2011 litter

Two solid liver males are available right now for $1,200 each. Price will increase as training increases. They currently are swimming, pointing, being shot over, beginning obedience and starting retrieving. Once the dogs are retrieving to hand in the field and water, pointing and ready to go hunting, they will be $2,800 each.

They are currently retrieving pigeons and ducks in the water and pointing pigeons in the field. These pups are from this year’s Hoss x Caiya litter. We ran three pups from the 2010 litter (same parents) this summer in NAVHDA tests, and all three received a Prize I. All three pups were trained at our kennel, two for other owners and one of our own. All of the 2010 pups that we have seen have proven themselves to be excellent pointers, hunters and retrievers both in the field and in the water.

We’re advertising Dixie on behalf of her owner, who is only looking to sell her because he has several younger dogs he is training. Dixie is five years old and still in her prime for breeding. This dog would make not only a good hunting dog and companion, but an excellent addition to any breeding program. We have hunted behind her in the field, and she is steady to gun and wing about 90%. She would be considered 100%, but he hasn’t hunted her in the last year or so. She hunts nice and close, or she’ll get out if you let her. She has a real stylish point and nice retrieve to hand, and she likes the water. She is also beeper broke. She is bred unbelievably well, with VC Jacob vd Westwind on both top and bottom of her pedigree, and she also has exceptional AKC bloodlines. She has achieved NA title through NAVHDA and the Senior Hunt title through AKC. She just missed the Master Hunter title because of a few minor steps.
